The Ops Lab

A place for liberatory ops nerds to come together to create community, solve problems, and dream up better futures. ✨

The Ops Lab is a space for:

  • Building community among radical and progressive operations professionals

  • Wrestling with the tension of operating within "traditional systems", white supremacist culture, and the non profit industrial complex

  • Slowing down and dreaming about our collective futures

  • Learning, development, evolution, and growth

How The Lab can be used

Solve Problems, Seek Advice, and Gather Resources

This is a space where you can ask questions, seek advice, or gather resources this will include on-demand access to Ops Collective knowledge and resources

Brainstorm and dream about new ways of building and implementing structures.

This can include policies and processes around compensation, performance, benefits, budgeting, governance, communications, culture building, etc.

Build a support network.

Operations work can be lonely and isolating, this is a space for us to build relationships and community to support each other in this work.

What and who this space is NOT for

  • People who are brand new to operations and do not have a long term commitment to operations

  • People who do not share the same values stated above

  • People who are concerned about compliance above all else, or who are unwilling to challenge the status quo

  • People who are only interested in the transactional nature of work

  • People who are unwilling to share and collaborate, and instead, gatekeep information

Membership Fees

These are annual membership fees. After you pay once, you will always have access to the slack and signal group spaces, but future annual fees are required for participation in gatherings, and to have access to Ops Collective coaching hours. Payment plans can be set up as needed, please just reach out to us - we don’t want anyone who needs the space to be excluded from it!
